Dear Artists,
We have two opportunities to showcase our artwork to the community again this year. Our art show at the Pumphouse will take place from April 24 to 26, and our art display at Nelles Manor will be on September 26th.
The two shows are not the same. The Pumphouse show is a more formal event. Artwork created on paper must be framed. To improve the appearance of artwork on a canvas, please paint the sides of the canvas.
Nelles is a more informal event. Our paintings will be on display, but you are also welcome to bring small items such as work done on paper that is matted in clear bags. You can bring printed small items, such as cards containing reproductions of your paintings or calendars with one painting for each month.
The Pumphouse event is rapidly approaching. I will email you additional information in a few weeks, but until then, start painting. You may enter up to five paintings. Please keep in mind that the racks are 24 inches wide. Should your painting exceed that width, it may be susceptible to bumps and damage.
